help my hands feet swell

I was just wondering if anyone can help me. I am miserable. My hands and feet swell up all the time. My hands get so puffy it feels weird to make a fist and I cant wear my wedding rings. My feet swell, get hot, turn red, and when I stand on them they get purple. There is no happy medium, they are either red and hot or freezing cold.
Does any one have an answer for this?
