Hi, in response, my husband and i have just been diagnosed with chlamydia and we have been together for 13 years, both of us have been faithful so we are in the same boat. Please ask your GP and don't get at each other with accusations as we first did ! It can lay dormant for many many years, If anyone else tells you any different then please ask for their qualifications! when they suggest things, they do not know the affect they can have on peoples relationships. My husband and i are proof that it can lay dormant for at least 13 years and i have been medically assured that it can be as long as 45 - 50 years ! or even never flare up. Tweet
