Re: Mirena Panic Attacks

I cant tell you for sure if Mirena is causing your panic attacks, but I have the same problem. Not too long after getting mine I started to suffer from anxiety, I came up with these irrational fears, such as.. I cant breathe other people's air because I am afraid I will catch a germ and get sick and die. Because of this I cant ride in elevators with other people, I have to hold my breath walking down an aisle at the grocery store, and sometimes it actually keeps me from leaving my house at all. I have also had some OCD symptoms start to arise. 2 months after getting my Mirena in I went into a deep depression. And just 3 months after getting my Mirena I was diagnosed Bipolar, which threw me for a loop. But like I said, none of this started to appear until after I got my Mirena. I feel that the hormones totally whacked out my system, including my brain. Tweet
