Soulful makes very good point. No matter where you meet someone, (the net, the supermarket,even in church) if he does not come with a solid referral, (and even if he does) before getting involved you should check him out with an invesitation service to make sure he is who he says he is, he is not loaded with debt, he has no criminal record... he is not married, etc. etc. The bank account you save may be your own....
