Re: some important things to consider--- dry cracked paws? or oozing?

I have been giving it to her in her water and also using it externally on her paws. She doesn't seem to be doing any better and I am wondering if that is because I bought an OTC CS. I would like to get a silverpuppy but wanted to try CS first given that I have never used it before. Now I am thinking I shouldn't have wasted my money.

Also, I know that the concensus on the forum is not to mix CS with Iodine in humans, but is that also the case with dogs?
