Re: A different focus point (and treasure maps)
Thanks for the reply -
I rely very much on my audition to take a trip down the memory lane. Throughout my life there were hundreds of songs that have for some reason or another resonated with my vibrational frequency at the time and "recorded" the various emotions I experienced.
Everytime I listen to specific songs, the essence of a specific experience/emotion is unveiled again, "almost" as if my body rejects the concept of time and begins resonating just like it did 10, 20 years ago. This almost feels like my body is reset back to the moment the memory was produced.
Certainly other sensorials will trigger the same experiences, like going back to the school you went to, etc. The memory is revived again at that moment because your senses captured the essence of that experience before (visual, audio, olfactory etc) and the memory is triggered back again by those stimuli. Just like migrating birds know exactly the direction to go back to the same tree, same branch, our brains are capable of reseting our body allowing it to "travel back in time" via the means of little "post it notes" it leaves on the way as "time progresses".
I think new intentions are based on raw basic emotions we have experienced before and adapted to the present state of mind. That's why I still think visualizations and conscious focus are useful in adapting an old experience into a new creation.
It is my understanding that most of our basic needs and desires are quickly developed as we interact with our enviroment. I think the most powerful intentions are based on the emotions we have experienced ourselves. I feel it's difficult to intend for something that I don't have the concept of (for example if I lived in a 2D world and someone in the 3D world tells me I'm flat, I wouldnt know what that concept is).
However through exposure of our surroundings we are able to stimulate those innate emotions of love/hate greed etc even via the simplest things like watching other living beings interact.
In today's world we are flooded by numerous stimuli and these can trigger a constant (sometimes overwhelming) flood of emotions. This can burden the body as whole and bring it out of balance on its own (specially if there is an umbalanced set of emotions like a lot of hate and no love or even viceversa?).
I love the idea of collating pictures to make little story of our intentions. It brings a concept from our conscious awareness into the physical world (poster). This will probably help me sink my intention into my subconscious and allow it to manifest it faster.
