I just wanted to add that I never intended for this thread to become a debate about or indictment of the powers that be in mainstream medicine nearly as much as I wanted to contrast the failed approach of mainstream medicine in treating cancer and serious illnesses versus the alternatives that nature has to offer.

I would love to see a way that we could measure natural vitamins, minerals and botanical supplements insofar as actual contents, quality and methods of extraction and storage without conceding control to those whose vested interests are in suppressing such alternatives in order to maintain their market share and profits.

The idea of an agency which would do that is admirable, but I have grave concerns if such an agency could be created without outside influence from those who put their own interests above our health.
