Re: which is stronger/better white composite fillings or a porcelain inlay/onlay

I am also confused about inlay and onlay . Recently I read that an onlay or inlay had would last approx 10/15 years. What happens in 15 years time ? do you have to have another inlay for $1000? therefore I would think that a composite filling for $"00 which would probably last for the same length of time as an onlay/inlay. However I was surprised when i read that an onlay wouuld only last 10 years as this information may be incorrect. I am searching for a dentist to confirm the durability of an onlay.
