Grace, I was just about to say, "Oh, Phooey!"
...Apologize to Kelli all over the place for hi-jacking her thread...and just go ahead and do a Himalayan crystal salt footbath.
My ankles/feet are doing the edema thing, once more...particularly ONE foot...and I am getting the URGENT frequent urination thingy, once again.
Never mind that I still s.m.o.k.e and spend one heck of a lot of time at the computer...these things stopped and restarted, with only my usual periods of vigorous activity to save face.
Then, this morning it hit me...I've been eating lots of asparagus in my meals lately, and I've had a few feeds of cheese, after a few months of doing without, for the first time in my life.
Asparagus is a natural diuretic, isn't it?
I swear that this puzzle is getting the best of me. There is an answer in here somewhere...but I haven't yet found it.
So-o-o...I think it best to add the footbath, measuring warm water and the Himalayan crystal salt to be a 1% solution...and start there. Eating less of the diuretic-type foods, too.
Kelli, I really do apologize for hi-jacking your thread.
And, Grace, I just needed to air my thinking/questions, and see if anyone else has explored this, and has any hints for balancing the system. No offense intended or taken. I just wish I could understand what is going on with me, and fix it. For all I know this is a 'detox' reaction...maybe even related to losing a particularly toxic tooth filling.
Back to the drawing board...
My best,
Fledgling
