YOur body is such a complicated machine with so many different operating things that you need fuel. There's no fuel in fasting. It may make you feel better if done for a couple of days at a time. I also find that it shrinks my stomach and I don't crave as much food after a 2 day fast. However, don't look to fasting for wt loss. You will have to have a sensible diet and exercise program for the wt. If I tried fasting for more than 2 days, I would get weak, irritable, light headed and very miserable. My body was telling me it needed fuel.
