The recommended dosage to get maximum benefits is 1-2tbsp, but I tend to take just 1tbsp. I'd say, with any new nutritional supplement, start slowly (perhaps even 1tsp per day) for a week or so and build up to 2tbsp if you feel you need it. With maca having such a powerful effect on hormonal balance, it is possible you will feel its hormonal effects too strongly if you start on too high a dose (mood changes, feeling emotional etc) so take your time and listen to your body if it's telling you it's having too much!
