Hahaha...'cure'
Acne overnight??! Anyone who tries to cash in on the suffering of others with these 'cure-your-acne' guides are only in it for financial gain and don't give two hoots about the people they're marketing it towards. Having
Acne can shatter self-confidence and leave you feeling vulnerable and an easy target for such 'scammers' (I know, I bought Chris Gibson's '
Acne free in 3 days' a year ago...what a waste of money!!) If someone genuinely wants to help someone heal their acne, they will do so at no cost.
Healing acne from within is all about listening to your body and understanding what the internal problems are leading to the outbreaks. Acne is a sign of toxicity within the body, something which takes time to repair, not an overnight possibility! After 2 years of dealing with breakouts myself (probably not as serious as some but enough to leave me hiding in the house on many a day!), I have finally found a routine which seems to be clearing up my skin wonderfully and preventing new breakouts. At present I actually have no new pimples, just old ones healing (quickly!) and my jaw area, which used to be covered in tiny bumps that weren't red but obviously raised in natural light, is totally smooth now (after only 6 weeks raw veggie!)
Here's what I do...
-In the morning I wash with water only as I felt over-washing my skin was leaving it too dry.
-I apply hemp salve as a moisturiser
-I use a little mineral makeup powder to hide any red marks (but they are getting fewer and further between at the moment!)
-For breakfast I always have a maca smoothie with rice milk and banana (I always felt my acne stemmed from hormone changes when I came off the pill, so maca is an excellent way to balance hormone levels in the body)
-I eat pre-dominately raw vegetarian, but occasionally it's hard to avoid cooked items at family get-togethers and eating out etc. so I'm not super-strict with this. Also no dairy (but rice milk is soooo much yummier anyway!) and no wheat, but I make my own onion and sunflower breads in my dehydrator)
-I try to have a green smoothie every day (the best way to eat greens as the chlorophyll is hard to digest unless the bonds are broken down first by blending)
My favourites are spinach & pear, spinach & plum, curly kale & pineapple.
-In the evening I rub hemp oil all over my face, leave to sit for a few minutes and remove with a warm wash cloth.
-Apply hemp salve again before bed. Occasionaly I rub a little lavender oil in for extra healing and dab a blob of aloe vera on individual pimples
-I try not to use abrasive exfoliants, which can aggreavte acne, but instead make masks with fruits (papaya, mango, pineapple, strawberries...with oatmeal to bind it) and these have a great natural peeling effect from the fruit acids. Papaya is supposed to be particularly good for healing discolouration
-Water, water, water! Drink plenty...plain or herbal teas
Along with this protocol, I have a detox bath with
Epsom Salts at least once a week, and have detox foot baths several times a week (
Epsom Salts and apple cider vinegar). I have also completed around 30
Liver Flushes over the past year and a half, had several
colonics and am doing a
parasite cleanse. I also give myself
coffee enemas once or twice a week.
This may sound like a long-winded routine, but it's just become habit for me now and the time I spend treating the physical side of the problem is actually less than I spend on steps to cleanse the inside. Simplicity is the key, and I've always found the longer I spend stressing about how I look and smothering my face in lotions and potions, the more my skin is on my mind and the worse the problem becomes.
A positive outlook on life and self-love are key in helping you heal many problems, as even emotional issues can have a big impact on your skin.
Don't throw your money away on e-books like these, I think you're all wise enough to understand how you need to heal yourself, and with the support of everyone here at Curezone i hope you can achieve it with money still in your wallet!
All the best to everyone dealing with skin problems and I know I've gone on a bit here, but I hope some of it can be of help to you
Amber :)
P.S. I'm due on my period any day, and for the first time in years I have no hormonal pimples!! (Possibly down to the maca, which I've been on daily for about 8 weeks) yipeeee!
