I know, Julie, but we still have to try. I KNOW it's frustrating, I've experienced the arguments and people thinking I'm nuts. THEY'RE crazy.

A gal I know was just sick for six weeks with salmonella. Her whole family ate the same thing, she's the only one that got sick. Why her? Because she's on nexium for "acid stomach". That stuff weakens the stomach acid which is the first line of defense.

I asked her if she was off it, I pointed out that it was the drugs that made her sick, not the salmonella(honestly, a healthy system can deal with that). She replied that yes, she was.

Now she's on something else. doh! The docs prescribe something that make her INCREDIBLY ill & she WILLINGLY gobbles up the next prescription!

It's not the easiest road we're on. It's a lot of work to research all this stuff, feed ourselves wisely, etc....most in this society don't care to understand.
