Re: vaccinations

Being aware of our mindset always helps. If you are feeling dread and anticipating negative resistance, you are more likely to attract that. If you are feeling confident and anticipating acceptance, you are more likely to attract that.

My husband actually dealt more with the doctors with our middle children regarding vaccines. The staff and doctor did give them their opinion, I think politely, and seemed to accept our decision. But it would probably come up any time we take them in for a well-check. We're not doing well-checks for our son so we're not dealing with it there so far.

As for school vaccinations, I believe the ones required are similar if not identical to the infant series. If you're not vaccinating your infant what would urge you to decide differently for your 4-year old? (just a question for you to consider)

I assume you know that your state allows exemption and you know how to obtain it?Here in Texas we have state exemption and I followed the process. It's very easy and I haven't had any problems with the schools about it: I did have to do one for the middle school also for a physical I think.
