Wow - Epsom Salts seem to be my favorite thing these days - from alkalizing drinks to liver flushes, and now saving me from the my worst garden battle. I have plenty around, so will try it tonight. Thanks for all the info. It's very interesting. I'm now looking at the problem in a different way.
