Thanks for all the great ideas! My gardens are quite small. I live in a subdevision. I have mixed peatmoss, manure, compost, and bags of leaves that I begged from a friend. There aren't any lawns around here for greens. And my growing season is shore. It's either too cold or too hot. But I'll add more manure, and do the fish & molasses. I have lots of molasses! Thanks to Moreless. riverrat
