To bake a whole garlic just use a little covered stone baking dish, add some olive oil and bake nice and low in the oven. It is so mellow tasting and doesn't seem to have the 'odor' factor after eating it.
Once baked you can eat it as a spread or add it to your favorite dip, sauces or other recipes that call for garlic. Many people just eat it as is!!! Baked Garlic, yum...
I like to bake several and freeze what I don't use for 'handy' garlic next time I am making a sauce or dip.
