Re: Help!!! Yeast infection worse since taking Diflucan?????

I Googled Triamcinolone and learned that it is a cortisone cream, which is supposed to help with itching and inflammation. Cortisone creams can be very useful at first if you feel like scrathing your skin off. Here is an article on Triamcinolone:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Triamcinolone

Here is an article that describes its uses and the brands that it is included in:

http://www.nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/druginfo/medmaster/a601124.html

The article does mention that you can be allergic to Triamcinolone. If that's the case, and if you can put up with the itching, you might want to consider going with the straight Nystatin cream for now. When the Difulcan kicks in, you won't need a cortisone cream anymore, anyway.
