Kathryn101 and everyone else - how can I heal this pink skin?

Here's my post for 2 weeks ago with info about my problem.

I've been applying Bag Balm for the past 2 weeks and now they're just faint pink with that dark spot in the one pink spot. I have no clue whatsoever what the dark spot is, it kinda looks like dry blood with it being dark. It can't be remains of the brown spot that was originally there because that spot was much lighter.

I'm thinking about trying castor oil as Kathryn101 suggested...is this a good idea? Will it heal the pink skin quickly? Do you think it could rid of that dark spot in that one? I don't understand what it is.
