Would it be possible to borrow an antique firetruck to drive off in, perhaps? The cake-topper is a great idea, too.

There are so many things that you use in your profession that could be used as decorations and so forth. I don't know about all of the stuff, but you could actually use the firefighter boots as vessels for flowers. I don't know - I'll have to give some deep thought to this...just do the stuffed pecans for your Self! :)
