Rationalization of the highest order
"God won't force them to live where they can never be happy. It is kind and loving of Him to just do away with them forever."
Yeah, I have heard this argument for ages and it is the most flawed statements I have ever heard uttered in my entire life.
God is Love, correct? How is Love ever equated with DEATH, especially permanent DEATH?
Now, we all agree that the devil hates all creation. It is the devil's will that mankind suffer and then permanently die. Now, we are taught that the vast majority of mankind will suffer and then die forever in the end. It says in the Bible that God's will is ALWAYS fulfilled, period. So, you are telling me that the devil's will and God's will coincide on this matter of permanent death? They are in agreement about this?
"They wouldn't be happy in heaven."
That is the oldest argument in the book and I find it to be very flawed. EVERYBODY searches for beauty, Love, and perfection. The problem is that they are so utterly DELUDED by the devil and by the works of the devil (sin-their carnal nature) that their search becomes as distorted as their life has become!
We are all born into sin and born with a void in our souls. Some may not even realize this but we are all searching for truth and Love.
The business about people not being accepted to heaven because they wouldn't be happy there is absolute rubbish, almost as laughable of the "loving" God who destroys his enemies for eternity!
Under their current delusion, yes, they would not be happy there. But if this delusion was removed from them, they would finally see the insurmountable truth of Jesus and it would be an impossibility for then to refuse that which they finally realized they had been searching for their entire lives.
Let me put it this way: There is an individual that is terribly brain damaged- let's say ultra severe down's syndrome, for example. I present them with a proposition- a DECISION- that will shape their radically alter their life. I ask them if they want me to end their life or give them a billion dollars to spend as they please.
They stare at me and it is clear that they cannot even fathom the question. They do not have the capacity to understand what is really being laid before them. They have no true concept of either death or money (reward).
They respond that they have chosen death. Now, I know that THE ONLY REASON that they came to this conclusion is because of their terribly damaged brain that could not grasp the choice that I had really given them...BUT, I decide to honor their "choice" and end their life...FOREVER.
THAT IS NOT FAIR!!!
Yes, with the profound, unimaginable DELUSION of sin, man will choose what God KNOWS is wrong for them. With the delusion of sin man will not choose what God knows they have been searching for all along.
We are told that WE MAKE THE CHOICE about salvation! Really????
Well in order to make a decision about this we would need to be presented with the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth...in order to make a truly informed decision. Otherwise our decision is ill-informed and therefore not really the true decision that we would make if we had known all that is to be known.
God is going to honor an ILL-INFORMED decision?
God is going to honor a fraudulent contract of ours with the devil? The devil has ONLY won anybody because of DECEPTION and FRAUD and LIES and DISTORTIONS and DELUSION.
An infinitely JUST God is going to honor that contract?
You may need to rething your position on the nature of God.
God Bless...
