just pick up some good distilled water in walmart, pathmark, etc mine always reads 0 PPM before I start my batch2.5 hrs later Iam up to 6 PPM. I believe the slower the better, it just etches the nano particles of silver into the water. slow, slow, slow. but iam also using stright high voltage 120volt AC
