OK, here we go again then. Use the COM-100 in the uS mode, KC1.
uS/KCL is the standard for measuring electrical conductivity . Thats really all you need. I think the other modes are there to try and provide better ppm conversions in various solutions but you should avoid using ppm conversions and just stick to uS.
Use the uS/KCL mode for measuring CS and water. In CS its simply a 1:1 conversion. 1uS equals 1 ppm.
You can experiment with other modes, but this is the one that is recommended for CS. It will read ppm directly without any conversion. Whatever the display says, that is your CS ppm . The reading will decline in about 24 hours. This is normal. You can re-brew your batch if you want to bring the ppm back up.
