Receptionist personifies Zombification
Wombat, that word is a lot scarier than some might think.
(The saga continues for our Receptionist)
Yesterday morning I’m working under the microscope in my lab.
I’m aware someone is getting into the goodie locker behind me.
The person is humming.
You know, the “I’m feeling good sort of humming”.
I turn around and look, it’s the Receptionist.
In the months she’s been here I’ve never heard her hum.
I had “classed” her as “NOT a morning person”.
In fact she’s told me (many times) she’s like a, dare I say it, Zombie in the mornings.
As well as most of the day.
Brain fog, tired, actually MUST take naps at inconvenient times.
It’s why she has never been able to hold down a long term job.
This has been going on for decades!
She got her large bottle of Lugol’s two days ago.
She’s been using mine the past few weeks.
She’s humming, she’s happy, she has energy (which when she’s in the lab she likes to show off to me).
Why? Because for the FIRST time in decades she HAS energy.
Not all the time, the “cure” isn’t complete.
But she “knows” she now has a future, that she sees gains almost every day.
We talk every day, she’s started making “future” plans.
Something her “illnesses” never allowed her to do.
Even though health issues due to candida etc still crop up for her.
She now hums.
Nuff said.

PS Change “personifies” from present tense to PAST tense.....;-)
