Seeking Advice on Iodoral, Juice Fasting, & Niacin Flush Detox

I am taking two weeks off work to get my body in order. This begins on 4/21 and will last two weeks. I would appreciate any advice you can offer.

A little history:

I was on Mirena for 19 months. I had a lot of side effects from Mirena, some I attribute to Insulin Resistance and others I suspect are related to Iodine Deficiency:

anxiety, insomnia, mood swings, Acne (on chest), low energy, lack of motivation, depression, body aches, random 'cold' symptoms, increased allergies, no sex drive, periods stopped completely, short term memory issues (brain fog), weight gain, paranoia, extremely dry skin, eyes, & mouth, and I have difficulty sweating

Most of these are fading since removal, except for the dry skin/eyes/mouth. However, I want to help my body out and get back to normal again ASAP. Before removal I did a 14-day Niacin Detox with lots of water, electrolytes, B Vitamins, and the all important Vitamin C. Since removal (10 days ago) I have been doing 2-3 Emergen-C drink packets a day, a multi-vitamin, and an Omega-3 capsule every day.

When I did an Iodine tincture patch test two nights ago, it vanished in less than 12 hours. My dry, itchy eyes, and sticky mouth improved the next day. I put even more Iodine tincture on my skin last night and had more improvement today.

I ordered some Iodoral based on this improvement and plan to add it to my current daily routine. I am comfortable taking one Iodoral a day under normal circumstances since my diet consists of very few iodine sources. I hope to already be taking it daily before my serious detox begins on 4/21.


Now comes the advice asking:

On my 'vacation' I plan to detox my system as much as I can in a safe manner. I will not have the luxury of a doctor's monitoring since I have no condition to monitor that insurance will pay for.

Aside from anxiety (caused by Mirena) and being overweight (215lbs), I have no official medical conditions or food/medication allergies. The only medication I take is Atarax as needed for insomnia and/or anxiety attacks. I do not plan to use the Atarax during the detox unless I have a very bad anxiety attack.

This is still very open for adjustment, but so far I plan to detox with a Juice Fast and some more Niacin flush detoxing. So my questions are:

Is Iodoral safe to take while doing a Niacin Flush Detox?
Is Iodoral safe to take while doing a Juice Fast?
Does anyone know how safe it is to do all three together?
Does anyone think it would be wise to take more than 1 Iodoral during detox?

To be precise, this is what I am thinking of taking each day:

Lots of juice, lots of filtered water, no solid foods, 1 Omega-3, 1 multi-vitamin, 3-4 Emergen-C packets (for Vit C, B complex, Electrolyte complex), Niacin to flush-point, 1 (or more?) Iodoral, & Senna tea as needed

If there are supplements I really should add to this list, please let me know.

If I did this combination, would it be wise to ramp up the Niacin for a few days and then start on the Juice Fast?

If this combination is just a Bad Idea(tm), then perhaps an alternative would be to do the Niacin Detox one week to push toxins out of my fatty tissues, and then Juice Fast the second week to clear everything from my system? Or would the reverse be more wise?

I understand I will feel like crap as all those toxins get pushed into my system and am prepared to endure such, so long as I do not endanger my health. Thus why I am doing this when I can suffer in the comfort and peace of my home.
