Oxidopathy research online here...

Oxidation causes cholesterol, a mild antioxidant, to turn rancid with cascading free radical damage. Cholesterol is deposited in the vascular system to quench irritation, as from heavy metal contamination of cells. Iron is a particular irritant (and oxidation catalyst), and can lead to another damaging quenching and deposition cycle with calcium, that can even be stolen from the bones, aggravating osteoporosis. Heavy metals act as irritant oxidizers.

Calcium quenching and deposition delays tissue healing. This reserarch, "AA OXIDOPATHY", cites a heart study where perfusion with low-calcium blood after a heart attack lowers what I call the calcium quenching & deposition cycle, speeding healing because the body doesn't have to work around the calcium deposits.

I mention these tidbits to entice you to read this otherwise voluminous research, especially as it uniquely explores the causes and treatment of "Leaky Cell" which Dr. Larrian Gillespie "The Hormone Diva" has found to be the basis for urinary tract disorders. "Leaky Cell" can affect any tissue group, however. I'd print it out and hit it with a highlighter. Note that Probucol, the cholesterol lowering drug, is a powerful antioxidant. It lowers good cholesterol where chelation with EDTA does not.
