Follow up: I took a couple of goldenseal and some time-released probiotics last night and the strange sensation in my chest with accompanying cough, which I had been feeling for several hours, went away. Maybe this was just a coincidence. There is no way to know for sure because it has been occurring intermittently for years, increasing in frequency and duration recently. And maybe I have some kind of bacteria or something that is eating away at my heart valve. I read that giardia has a fondness for heart valves. They replaced my Mom's heart valve with the heart valve of a pig last year. I kid you not. My Mother has a pig's valve in her heart! I don't want one. I want to get rid of the disease that is causing my heart to malfunction.

I'm going to start calling parasites germs, so people don't think I'm a hypochondriac.
I doubt there will be as much resistance to calling a crab or a pinworm a germ, as there is to calling a bacteria a parasite. But any entity that lives in my energy field and feeds off my energy to the detriment of my health and well being is a parasite, is my opinion.

Maybe if we changed the name of this forum to The Germ Forum or Energy Vampire Forum or Disease Causing Entities forum, people wouldn't think I was nuts for coming here. I'm really tired of everyone saying to be careful because we need parasites. That is just nuts. parasites need hosts. That's why we are populating ourselves out of existence like bacteria on a petri dish. They are compelling human beings to procreate mindlessly like they do.
