Re: Possible Microbial Cause for Apnea and related disorders - Mon12Feb2007@0537hrs/GMT-4

Fascinating.

I have had sleep related problems since early childhood. Which became progressively worse the older i got. I have had a problem with a stuffed up nose continuously waking me up. It is much improved now though except that having been without Oxypowder for several weeks and taking a dose before bed time last night, I woke up with a stuffed up nose and sinus aches and pains.

Although I gave up smoking about 8 yrs ago, I still seem to have a continuous flow of something from the back of throat/nose area and in the last couple of years began to notice that my nasal passages would soon block up if I was in a very warm centrally heated room for very long and it was most worse when visiting my parents who have a couple of dogs. My mother also complains of her stuffing up too, and I have noticed in recent yrs how much she continuously clears her throat and constantly swallowing.

Although I have made great strides recently with my health, I'm sorry to say that the rest of my family think I'm nuts, and it doesnt help that my mother has absolute faith in doctors.

Your notes have given me another road of thought to meander down. Its all so fascinating.

Kind Regards
