Thanks for that tip! My chix used to eat cracked corn feed but they also picked worms from the compost heap in my backyard. Now I'm out in an area where folks are less likely to call the cops (for keeping chix!), I'm seriously considering getting a few of them to collect eggs. I want them for myself and for my family. My husband is a meat eater and I figured he'd like the eggs for meals. Tweet
