HELP!!! soution for temper tantrums- 15 MONTH OLD JUST STARTED ACTING UP.

My little boy has always been a sweet baby and very cooperative. He was known as the happy mellow baby. Well latley he has been acting out and throwing tantrums. He wants to climb on things like the computer desk and play with the keyboard or even our kitchen table. I won't allow him to and I say no and remove him. He is taller than most 15 month olds so its easier for him to climb. He seems irritable all day because he can't climb. He is also teething but I am giving him homeopathic drops to help with the pain. Well I feel like I am losing my baby. He doesn't want to be held much eaither latley. I feel like I am mourning or something? Is this normal? I guess I am trying to get used to a whole new person. Some people have advised me to hold him down and restrain him while he is going through these tantrums, but I feel strange about that. Could I get imput on this? He is such a gentle child normally and I don't want to mess up the bond we have. He is also still nursing and he loves nursing although he nurses mainly when he wants now. Well any advice would be very much appreciated.
