Re: Fasting to heal eczema
Oh, and I forgot to mention the "pains". Throughout the fasting I experienced milder pains on various places of my body, I suppose the parts the body was "working" on the moment. For example my gums - one day my upper right gum hurt (when biting the teeth tohgether or when pressing on them with my tongue), then the upper left gum, another day the lower left, later lower right, it virtually made a circle around my mouth. Even at the age of 30 I am still lucky enough to have intact teeth, however my gums would modestly bleed occasionaly when brushing my teeth. I suppose that is what the body was working on - after breaking the fast I haven't experienced any bleeding yet.
It is quite funny, the body has its own priorities and no matter what we wish it to fix, it concentrates on whatever it chooses. Other people have confirmed this to me - if they fast with the idea of fixing a certain problem, to their surprise they may in the end find, that the body has healed something competely different. Thus I think that if we practise and gradually are able to undertake longer fasts, we have a better chance of healing what we want to heal plus we have the bonus of fixed health problems we hardly were aware of :)
