Re: Reply to Sue
Dear Sue,
Sorry for the late reply.
I did a little reading on hot flashes and found this site useful. Please take a look.

Yes, homeopathy is an extremely slow process. The body is sick, it will take time. The quickest is a water fast, but it is also the most aggressive and trying for the mind and body.
Your reaction to juice fast does not surprise me because the reaction is a sign of heavy detox. But I can tell it may be too much for you to handle. Peronally, I strongly recommend you discontinue personal detoxification and pay a visit to the Chinese doctors. While Chinese medical theory is more abstract than western medicine, the 5000 yr history backs up the efficacy of Chinese medicine, ranging from massages, acupuncture and herbs. This however takes a long time too. I am a Chinese and did try Chinese medicine once. A kind doctor treated me for a few months without asking for payment. I was at my worst then. My pulse was so weak I was described as "having the pulse of an 80 year old"--considering I was 19, that did not sit well with me, at all. My blood was extremely dirty and I suffered extreme lethargy and depression. My body burnt and itch grew in intensiveness. She was giving me herbs to clean my blood, clear my consipation (which was so severe I had an hour long of acupuncture before slight movements in my colon was detected), boost my liver, and changed my diet. But I did not have the patience and the suffering was unbearble. I gave up to sought a different doctor, who put me on probiotics and meditation later on(helped a little).
The reason why I am recommending you a Chinese practitioner is because I want you to expand your options. The perspective from a different medical practice may enlighten you on certain conditions you may not be aware of. ie Chinese practicioners have the uncanny ability to detect a patient's disease by observing the patient's eyes, tongue, complexion, behaviour, besides taking a different type of pulse and running down on medical history.(Usually, there is no invasive physical examination)In addition, acupuncture is a quick relief for the hot flashes and eczema flare.
Think about it.
I know personally how trying this crazy disease is. And what "reliable" doctors know are in fact limited and flawed. Take to heart that you are on the right track. Needing some refinement (eg a more intensive cleansing or elimination for food for a period of time) and lots of perseverance and optimism. I really want to cure this permanently and live a happy long disease-free life. Don't you? This is one of the manyreasons I got in medicine--to get to the bottom of restoring my own health.
I tried and failed many times, but NO WAY am I giving up. We deserve better.
May I ask what diet are you on currently? I am concerned about this.
Murdock19 at the forum and I have been exchanging experiences and options. He is struggling like all us with eczema. Read our exchanges, maybe they may shed some light and hopefully, engender vital hope.
Wish you all the best. Keep in correspondence. Let's help each other out and see this to the end.
Lots of love.
