So does anyone remember why we've always been told to get Tetanus shots and or boosters? There are at least 1001 thoughts that have been drummed into my mind from the time that I was a young kid that to this day I can automatically recite verbatim off the top of my head. One of them is that "a Tetanus shot or booster is needed every few years just in case I ever tramp on a rusty nail or the like, 'cause that can lead to lockjaw, and lockjaw will lead me to die a horrible death".
