I don't trust visuals, rather would rely upon the analysis I perform here in my own laboratory.

The internet has a lot of mis-information, and often dis-information, as in

Just because something is dark colored when you throw it at a wall, doesn't mean it has Iodine in it.

Iced tea looks like diluted Lugols solution.

In any event, thanks for sharing, I'll do a little test. I have some Black-Walnut s here from the Ohio autumn 2006.
