You really are an old timer :-)

I ain’t got 15, workin’ on it, but I got a drinking buddy pushing up daisies too. And another one looking like death warmed over, and so pissed at life that I can feel the fear and anger wafting off him like heat off a stove. But try to get him to see the need for a change. He won’t hear it. Better the devil you know is the only thing I can think if for his resistance.

But I have to tell you ol’ buddy, this forum is now for the dissemination of information on the benefits of chuggin’ your own wiz, not on getting’ sober the old fashion way. You know, getting a sponsor, working the steps and then tellin’ God thank you.

Again congrats on doing it the old fashioned way, one day, hour, minute, second at a time.
