Re: Bone Broth

what did you do with the solidified fat (tallow) ?

I eat some of it, and give the remainder to the dogs and cats.

But, in this tallow is also the fat-soluble vitamins.

The fat-soluble vitamins which are present in the beef and in the vegetables
which is liberated in the boiling / simmering, becomes extracted into
the oil.

I believe fat-soluble vitamins are lost if the tallow is discarded, and consider
this to be a fault of the recipes. Yet, getting people to eat tallow can be a
difficult thing to do, so I don't have an answer.
