That sounds fine so far, it is probably too weak to help you. If you are using room temp water, you will have to brew much longer. You should stir fairly often during brewing or use an aquarium bubbler. Slight yellow color is not bad but clear is preferred because particles are smaller and more bioavailable to viruses. Just drink more. I brew for about 25 min with the hot water method, others recommend around 2 hrs with room temp water. Get yourself a laser and learn how the beam looks in the water as you make it, it is called the Tyndal effect. The colloid particles will illuminate in the light beam. Be consistent and observe what's going on and you'll get the hang of it. Read Trapper's post below. He helped me out a lot. 2tuff has good info too.
