Re: iodine experience

i would have to say there has been some absorption, but it would be hard to quantify. how do i know some was absorbed? i could feel it. i put a lot of Iodine on my feet.

i dont think that it is possible to renew the body's supply of Iodine all at once, like it is with, say B-12. you can take a shot of b12 and the liver will store it and youre good to go for a month or so. Iodine needs time to be incorporated into tissues. not only that, but i think there is so much dysfunction in the body that is there to compensate for the lack of it and to deal with the other halides trying to take its place. i see no reason why a month is not enough and why 3-6 months is needed for the body to adjust and detox.

i am sticking with it. i want to continue to play with topical use, but i also dont want to walk around looking like a giant oompa loompa. on the other hand, a little green hair dye... hmmmm
