from what i am understanding, replacing the other halides with Iodine is not something that is going to happen on its own. in fact, it seems the opposite would be more likely to happen. in order for Iodine to replace fluoride, for example, there would have to be a very active process involved, possibly something which has to take place over time.
as for myself, i feel i have gotten rid of a lot of fluoride from my system, so i am closer to a straight deficiency than the HIS. i know when i had a lot of fluoride still in my system, that is when the potassium Iodide really knocked my thyroid off line and i felt terrible and very cold. now, with all the drops of atomidine i have been taking, i just keep getting warmer and clearer thinking. the pesto i made is having an impact as well. man does my body like that. and i get satisfied quickly with it as well.
