Hi, I recently ordered calcium hydroxide along with some of the other ingredients for the moreless protocol on the basis that everything I read on the ask moreless site seemed to make a lot of sense - it still does but having come across this site it looks like a lot of people are dead against using it. I would be grateful to anyone who has been using it on a longterm basis to post their observations both positive and negative. I am not a chemist and I realise that in its pure form it is dangerous to inhale or digest - but if only one tablespoon is used in a gallon of water - and then only maybe up to 20 tablespoons is then added to the drink, well then quite obviously it is being taken in a highly diluted form. If there were to be any negative effects from it, common sense would say that it would be the accumulative effect rather than taken once or twice - hence the question. BTW, I am an open minded, non medical person looking to heal a longterm digestive problem. This whole alkalising concept makes a lot of sense to me, however I have no interest in getting caught up in a protracted chemistry debate because first of all it would go way over my head and secondly I am purely interested in how sucessful CH is in raising the PH level without doing any long term damage to the body.
