Re: SEEKING ADVICE - Abscess - Root Canal Advised

Okay, so I am thinking I would like to get this tooth extracted ASAP...

What should I look for when finding someone to extract it?

I still have a small lump (size of a pea) at the root of this tooth, depsite 1 course of amoxicillin (500mg 3 times a day) and now nearly complete of 1 course (500MG 4 times a day) of Penicillin. I've been brushing about 4 times a day, have a very pink and clean tonque and gums. I have also been using peroxide rinses, doing oil pulling, and using white oak powder between gums and cheek, also been using using clove oil in rinses and I tried using a q-tip to apply tea tree oil directly to the abscess but I only tried that a couple of times.

I was under the impression that I had to get the infection wiped out before I could get the tooth removed, is this true?

Also, is this lump a definite sign that there is still an infection?

ANY ADIVICE ANYONE?

I just want to knock this damn infection out, get the tooth pulled and get on with my life.
