My liver turned out pretty good + question
i am trying liver on the recommendation of weston price. i first cooked some cabbage, garlic, olive oil, water, and curry, for a short bit, then set the thinly sliced liver on top of that, squeezed lemon over all of it, then covered and cooked at very low temp. i think it turned out pretty good, the broth is very tasty, and the strong flavor covers over any unpleasant flavor of the liver.
there is no question about it, the liver is very energizing. it packs a real nutrient punch.
my question to those of you who have eaten liver before, what do i do wit the rest of this? i mean i had to buy an entire liver, which is pretty big (its organic beef liver). it aint gonna keep forever. should i cook it all and then freeze it for later?
