It is very interesting about the worms and the static. Static electricity is often generated mainly from rugs, but also happens often in the dry air of the winter. Putting a pan of water to evaporate on the radiator helps to humidify the air. Grounding yourself will drain the static charge, but that's only momentarily. Dehydration has a strong effect in preventing electrolytes from doing their job, so it's very important to drink half your body weight in ounces of water every day (200 pounds--100 OUNCES). There is a neglected branch of medicine called "Electromedicine". It's probably most used for pain and nerves, but is also against parasites, BONE HEALING and has even been used for cancer.
