Re: Daughter With Fever (101 to 103) Hallucinating?

Thanks to both of you for your input. I will definetly try the egg whites if her fever goes back up, and I won't give her tylenol for her fever.

I actually called the hospital last night and asked them about it, and the nurse gave me a really bad time about not giving her any tylenol or ibuprofin for her pain. She agreed with me about the fever thing - not bringing it down artificially with drugs, which surprised me - but she told me that my child was 'entitled' to pain relief. She said it several times, which made it sound like it was illegal for me not to give my daughter pain medication. The nurse also told me that my daughter is experiencing the same symptoms as many people she's talked to this weekend. Nasty virus.

Update on my daughter: It's morning and of course her fever is down. Her legs still ache, and her head hurts but only when she coughs. I have her drinking lukewarm water. She is smiling and watching TV. About the hallucinations: I agree, it was probably a bad dream. It was just creepy the way she kept talking strangely and opening her eyes really wide.
