On the money Swim. Desperate dieters will bring up that one line in the whole book over and over cause they still want to find that Magic Bullet or easy out. They talk about "Stanleys guidance" yet not once (EVER) has anyone of them EVER talked about any of the other hundreds points Stanley makes about "proper nutrition" They talk about this being a great way to "kick start a weightloss program" without having any understanding that that is EXACTLY what is written in the FAQs. They talk about lack of insight and what they mean is "you're not telling me what I want to hear".
Bottom line is that the FAQs I post are the distilled wisdom and "insights" of thousands that have gone before them on this forum and my own personal experiences and having lost 50 LBS. Not once have any of the dieters tried to discuss or dispute a single point made in the FAQs simply because they can't but nevertheless they will whine about something or other cause they still want that magic bullet without talking about the gun that it takes to fire it....................;+D
They fight the statement even though like you said it doesn't say anything whatsoever about NOT loosing weight. It just simply explains the real world reality of how any form of fasting works and how to use SUCCESFULLY as >>>PART<<< of a succesful way to loose weight. The whole thing is actually a positive statement of encouragement to help them succeed but they don't want to face the reality of what it actually takes to make it all happen.
