Thanks for posting this! I have been very lazy about trying to make my fermented veggies as I haven't even tried it yet!
Yes shame on me! I really need to get started but for some reason was thinking I needed a fermenting type crock to get started. I have Mason jars, though! I also bought some whey cultures on a recommendation from someone who makes theirs using these refrigerated cheese making starters. I also have a whole head of organic lettuce in my fridge! I'm halfway there! Well tommorow I better get started, theres no excuses now!
