Re: BARF people, invincible, critterkids: what do you think of this article?
I have 2 Huskies, one male and one female, and a pure female timber wolf, all rescued. I feed them raw, but it is mostly frozen. The wolf was skinny and afraid of everything when I got her, now she is healthy and thriving, as are the huskies. I can give the wolf a huge frozen turkey leg with thigh attached. and it is gone in 10 to 15 minutes. There teeth are healthy white, and there coats are thick and healthy. It is 7 degrees at my house now with about 3
inches of snow on the ground, and they are playing tag, running all over the back yard. The thing that I worry about is feeding hormone chicken and beef. I can't afford to buy free range organic chicken at $11.00 each. They get lots of chicken hearts, gizzards, beef heart, and kidneys. I have had dogs most of my life, these are the most robuts healthy happy kids I have ever seen. The male Husky and Wolf are 6, and the Female Husky is 5.
