Oh I'm so sorry. I know how distressing this damn illness is! I wish I had an answer for oyu. But it's so different for everyone. There's no one size solution! It makes it so difficult to know what is the best course of action.

It's hard for me to say if the Diflucan would help you or not. I read somewhere that it has to be given for a lengthy time for it to tip the scale ( like a year and a half! ). See my nurse prac wouldn't give it for more than a short time period, saying it was too dangerous for my liver. Well I don't know there...perhaps it was. I sure as hell needed it. Now my guts are way too leaky and my liver would surely implode if I took that stuff!


I can only say that it will always re-grow if there aren't enough good bacteria to compete with it. That's what caused it in the first place so that makes sense to me ( and what my experience has been...judging by how much improvement i get from the raw sauerkraut )

Yes I've seen those nasty thread thingies. I've only had one experience with that....once I had an entire toilet bowl of them after I did an enema! I thought they were worms!!! But thanks to some of the "lovely" photos from members ( ha ha ), i realized it was those candida strings. I had taken some really strong probiotics and I think It killed off a load. But as strong as those were, they never got my bm's going. Only the sauerkraut is doing that. Now I go every day ( except on rare occasion )

But yes, rest assured it's good sign they're coming out. Sorry this is so long and rambling!
