Re: To Corinthian

"Neo, great points and good questions. I too would love to see this debated more. I don't think Moreless's protocol is entirely correct (I mean who really is 100% right except God), but does it really have to be to produce results?"

I agree w/ you that no one is 100% right except God- bear in mind though that ML claims he is God's mouthpiece. Literally, he has stated several times that his ideas come from The Creator himself. Aside from the obvious implications this brings regarding his mental state, what we're really after is *results*, and few are saying that the alkalizing drink for example is complete rubbish. It's working for many people (and good on them), but you'll find it's effective to VARYING degrees. He's admitted, it's not a cure-all. Even complemented with positive dietary change, it's not a cure-all; several people have noted a lack of results or even significant worsening of their health (but again, it IS beneficial for most). I myself struggle with Candidiasis symptoms and have gotten a great deal more relief with recommendations from a naturopath than I ever did from the alkalizing drink (tried it for @ 2 months; it was decently helpful but the effects weren't stellar). An even greater question is *safety*. Is it wise to be megadosing on minerals, BSM, kelp and Epsom Salts for months or years on end? He's been asked about the long-term effects and just gave a long, evasive non-answer (he obviously doesn't know). This is significant. Hate for anyone to have a little temporary relief, but deal with calcium deposits 5-10 years from now.

Instead of superdosing on minerals, I think it makes much more sense to focus on the body's proper assimilation and elimination so that theoretically it won't have to use up its stores of alkaline minerals to buffer the pH from the presence of acidic waste. Many healthy people, with presumably alkaline pH, eat lousy, mineral-deficient diets! Why do they not require super high doses of minerals to maintain their health? The pattern you'll consistently notice is the *lack* of constipation, complete digestion of their food along with regularity and absence of deleterious symptoms of any kind, high metabolism, active lifestyle and a generally happy, fulfilled life. It all forms the complete package for mental, physical, and spiritual health. So I have no doubts about there being a tremendous amount of merit to the whole pH issue; get the body's digestion and elimination functions working correctly so it can properly break down and use its food, and have normal and regular eliminations of waste (acidic), and there should be no need for over-the-top concoctions.
