Sociopaths in zone of their own

A program was just on Hannity & Coombs. It showed the Top Ten Shocking Videos of 2006 or somesuch. One was the famous assault by a man and woman on a newscaster/journalist. The update was that this man, the attacker, now faces 10-15 yrs in jail and the woman is getting 5 yrs. The journalist was bleeding from his head and face, and was taken away in an ambulance from a FELONY assault. The facts were clear.

It is a shock to my system that after NUMEROUS assaults of the exact same nature, and frankly, much worse since the aftermath far surpasses anything the journalist had listed as permanent damages, that the sociopath who did the same--doesn't see it. He sat on the couch and it went right over his head that he was no different. That he was actually WORSE. That he "loved" someone and yet, HARMED THEM. Over and over again.

He could sit and talk about how terribly the accused were. But not him....he doesn't even see himself at all. How is that?
